Self-Belief: A Daily Practice
Our brain likes to play tricks on us. It makes us believe in limits. Our brain needs us to feel safe so we can survive another day.
So, we all have the voice that says…
“There’s no way you can achieve that.”
“Do you seriously think you can make that happen?”
“Why do you even TRY??”
To which your inner WARRIOR bellows…
“I have to BELIEVE it will work, and I can make it happen.”
“Everything is figureoutable.”
“You are stronger than you think.”
In the moments of discomfort, you may hear the doubts but deep down you know you are destined for greatness.
We all have these battling voices in our heads, and to practice self-belief we need to let the WARRIOR voice speak louder.
Society has this idea that self-belief is a billowing scarf in the wind that only certain people are able to catch with talent and grace.
But this kind of self trust is not a fleeting, but instead something that is already WITHIN you. This inner trust and belief needs to be summoned and revealed with intention.
In the moments when you hear the self-doubt creep in, remind yourself of your strength and power. Remind yourself of everything you are capable of doing and have already done in your lifetime.
We each have the power to build our own selves up.
And it’s in the space between thought and response.
In that space we have the chance to build our own self-belief.
